Accommodation can be arranged in various types of hotels, B&Bs and guesthouses. We recommend the smaller hotels and guesthouses, as they give more personal attention. Please be aware that all enclosed public places and workplaces in England have been smoke-free since
1 July 2007. This includes hotels, B&Bs and guesthouses.
All the hotels are within walking distance of LTS. More more pictures and detailled information, please see the hotels’ own web sites. LTS will make a booking on your behalf as soon as you have returned the hotel questionnaire. However, with many hotels, you need to contact the hotel yourself and secure the booking against your credit card details. All rates are subject to availability and change. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions regarding the booking procedure.
An alternative to a hotel is to rent a self-contained holiday apartment. We recommend Bath Holiday Rentals. The nearest apartments are the Fountain House apartment and the apartment in Alfred Street, but you may prefer other apartments as well. The Francis Hotel is an elegant recently refurbished Georgian 3 star hotel, right in the centre of Bath, on Queen Square, and a 10 min. walk from LTS. All 95 rooms have air conditioning, a mini bar, TV/ radio and direct dial telephone. There is WiFi internet access throughout the hotel; access cards are available from reception. The LTS rate for single occupancy of a standard double room is £95 including breakfast; the LTS rate for single occupancy of an executive double room (refurbished) is £110 including breakfast. These rates are subject to availability.

The Queensberry The Queensberry is a 3 star townhouse hotel that occupies four 18th century houses. Its location is very convenient, just 5 min. from LTS and 5 min. from the town centre. The room rate of a standard double room Sunday - Thursday night is £120 including breakfast. At the weekend, Friday - Saturday night, the room rate is £170 plus £15 for full English breakfast/ £10 for continental breakfast. Superior double rooms are available on request (prices vary according to availability). The hotel has its own top class restaurant, The Olive Tree, and offers several lounges with complimentary wireless broadband access.

Villa Magdala
Villa Magdala is an elegant Victorian town house hotel, situated on a quiet road overlooking Henrietta Park. Despite its quiet location, it is only a 5 min. walk into the town centre and a 15 min. walk from LTS. The hotel has 18 elegant, good sized rooms, all with colour TV. This is a smaller hotel with a very cosy and personal touch. There is no bar and night reception service. The LTS rate is £75 per room (single occupancy). The rate includes continental or full English breakfast. The rooms have direct dial telephones but do not have internet connection points. There is plenty of off-street parking on the hotel grounds.

Carfax Hotel The Carfax Hotel is a well appointed 'five diamonds' city centre guesthouse that occupies three Georgian townhouses on famous Pulteney Street. The Carfax Hotel has 31 uniquely furnished en-suite rooms. All rooms are equipped with colour TVs with Sky, radios, hair dryers, tea/coffee making facilities and direct dial telephones with modem ports. The Carfax Hotel is just 5 min. walk from the city centre and about 15 min. walk from LTS. Prices vary according to room category (Standard, Plus and Superior). Single rooms are available from £71 and double rooms (single occupancy) are available from £95 per night. The hotel requires a non-refundable £30 deposit and the guest's credit card details to secure the booking.

The Royal Crescent Hotel
The Royal Crescent Hotel is a magnificent 5 star hotel and occupies two buildings in the middle of the famous Royal Crescent. It overlooks Victoria Park and is only a 5 - 10 min. walk from LTS and a 5 min. walk from the city centre. All 31 double rooms and 14 suites have their own individual character. There is also a spa area with relaxation pool and a gym. Prices start from £195 p.p.p.n. in a standard double room (Sun - Thu), £265 (Fri) and £310 (Sat), but could be higher depending on season and availability. |

Brocks Guest House
This beautiful Georgian house is located between the Circus and the Royal Crescent, and just 5 min. walk from LTS and the centre of Bath. The cost for single occupancy incl. breakfast is £65-£75; the cost for double occupancy incl. breakfast is £80-£95. |

Chestnuts House Chestnuts House is a fine Edwardian detached house with an enclosed garden and private off street parking. It is located about 10 min. walk from the city centre and about 15 min. walk from LTS. The House has four guest rooms, some with king size beds and one with a private patio area. All rooms are en-suite and equipped with remote colour televisions, radio/alarm clocks, free broadband internet connection, hairdryers and refreshment trays. The cost of a standard double room (single occupancy) incl. breakfast is £65; the cost of a superior double room (single occupancy) incl. breakfast is £75.

Alexis House
Alexis House is a beautiful privately-owned guesthouse with a very cosy and personal touch. It is located on the southern slopes of Bath with beautiful views across town. The guesthouse is located in a very quiet and pleasant residential area, offers free parking and is only a 10 min walk from the city centre, and a 20 min walk from LTS. The guesthouse has three bedrooms, all with private facilities. There is free wireless internet access available throughout the house. The LTS rate for single occupancy incl. breakfast is £60. There is a wide choice for breakfast, incl. fresh fruit, yoghurt, free range organic eggs, croissants or full English breakfast. |

The Belmont Guesthouse
This city centre Georgian townhouse and its guestrooms were maintained in the original design and modernised accordingly. Ideally situated on Lansdown Road, it is only 2 min. from LTS and 5 min. from the city centre. All large en-suite rooms (shower and toilet) are comfortable and tastefully decorated, with all original features such as fireplaces. The rate for single occupancy is £55. There are also two smaller rooms on the third floor with two bathrooms to share. The rate for single occupancy is £40. All rooms have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. |

14, Raby Place Guesthouse
This Georgian terrace house combines period elegance with modern comfort. The rooms at the front have a fine uninterrupted view of the Abbey and those at the back look onto the green hills that surround Bath. It is a 10 min. walk into the city centre and a 20 min. walk to LTS. There is a wide choice for breakfast, incl. fresh fruit, yoghurt, free range organic eggs, full English breakfast and home made preserves. Elgin Villa Bed & Breakfast
Elgin Villa is set in a peaceful residential area, just 5 min. from Victoria Park, Bath's largest park, 10 min. walk from the city centre and about 10-15 min. walk from LTS. The rooms are either fully en-suite or with en-suite shower and wash basin and shared WC. Elgin Villa has four guest rooms. Single occupancy prices are as follows: a twin room with en-suite shower and shared WC is available from £45, a double en-suite room is available from £60 and a family en-suite room is available from £65. Weston Lawn Bed & Breakfast
This Georgian house is set in it’s own grounds and is in a quiet location, about 30 minutes flat walk from LTS and the town centre (or about 5-10 min. on bus no. 20). The LTS rate for single occupancy of a double room with en-suite facilities is £55 incl. continental breakfast; the rate for double occupancy is £75. There are also smaller and larger rooms available at different rates. Weston Lawn is a family home and the atmosphere is friendly and informal. We particularly recommend it in the summer months.
